Keep NC's Medicaid expansion
Since 2023, 690,000 North Carolinians have gotten coverage. State law ends the program automatically if the federal share drops.
It only works while Washington pays 90% of the bill. Trimming that share would save $561 billion.
Hospitals, not taxpayers, cover the state's share, and 244,500 rural residents have signed up.
